Majestix Golf was formed in early 2003 when an avid golfer wanted to build a high quality affordable golf ball compression tester, and have it made and assembled in the USA. That golfer knew that he would have to partner with someone who knew manufacturing. He set out to find an experienced machinist to help him with this task. Not long after he started looking, he approached a CNC Machinist by the name of Jimmie Houts. And so Majestix Golf was born.

Shortly after Majestix Golf was formed, they contracted a small CNC Manufacturing company in Southern California to build and assemble their tester.

When approached, Jimmie took the idea and ran with it. He designed a tester from concept to prototype and contracted Flashpoint Machine to manufacture a tester from solid aluminum, and assemble it using only top quality parts. Each tester is manufactured under strict guidelines to ensure quality. Once the tester had proven that it would give consistent results, production began.

Soon after the first testers were made, it was clear that one tester for all would not fit the bill. Majestix Golf decided that they needed to offer more than one choice to golfers. Thus the introduction of the Gold Tone Plated solid brass tester known as the Executive Edition.

All testers continue to be manufactured and assembled by Flashpoint Machine at their facility in Southern California.
